Key Information

OnePage Custom WordPress Theme

Emily from Science Traduite contacted me, as she was looking for an update to her wordpress site showcasing her work and allowing people to submit translations for her academic translation service. After talking about the different options for her wordpress site, we decided on a OnePage style site, which displays all the site contents in structure blocks on a single page.

Multilingual WordPress with WPML

Given that Science Traduite’s main aim is to provide high quality proofreading and translation services, we decided to add multilingual functionality to the existing single-language site using the plugin WPML.

Science Traduite provided the translations in English, and I laid out the pages depending on the content provided for that language.

A high quality finish on Mobile, Tablet and Desktop

Science Traduite provides high quality academic translation and proofreading, and as such I wanted to produce a high quality, slick user experience. Particular attention was paid to typography in the graphic design, and to the transitions of the page and different elements during the development.

I also ensured that every element was editable by Emily in the site’s Back-End, so that the site can evolve with the services she provides.

Take a look at the result a responsive OnePage wordpress site. And if you are in need of academic translation or proofreading, you know where to turn…!
